Strathmore Highland Games Committee are delighted to share the traditions of Highland Games and can't wait to welcome you all. Come & join us on Sunday 14th June 2026, in the glorious grounds of Glamis Castle in Angus for a truly Scottish day out!

Officially opened at 12 noon by our Chieftain, gates open at 10am.  There's lots going on like big strong men tossing cabers and light footed highland dancers dancing. There's pipers piping, runners running & cyclist's cycling. There's also a crowd of folk pulling a rope away from another crowd of folk, they'll likely be sitting for a while, but one team always wins.

There's ice-cream, a bouncy castle, and races to help keep the kids happy.  We also have a fabulous selection of local food and drinks producers to show you just how great the folk of Angus and the surrounding area are, along with a selection of talented home grown crafts folk bringing along their wares for you to browse through. So why not come along to the Games!
